Why "Average Joe"?
I started this site because I was tired of the noise. Everywhere you look—social media, the news, financial reports—it feels like everything is being filtered through some sort of agenda or over-complicated by people who have forgotten what life is like for the rest of us.
The "Average Joe Perspective" isn't about being an expert. It's about being an observer. It's about looking at a political policy and asking, "How does this actually help my neighbor?" It's about looking at the stock market and saying, "Why is this so unnecessarily complex?"
The Mission
My goal is to provide a place where you can find honest, common-sense takes on the things that impact our daily lives. Whether I'm talking about:
- Politics: Cutting through the tribalism to find practical solutions.
- Investing: Strategies for people who have jobs and lives, not just trading screens.
- Entertaining: Rediscovering the joy of simple, meaningful connection.
- Life Advice: Lessons learned from the school of hard knocks and average days.
I don't expect everyone to agree with me. In fact, I hope you don't. The whole point is to encourage people to think for themselves again, rather than just repeating what they heard on TV.
So, grab a coffee (or something stronger), have a look around, and maybe you'll find a perspective that resonates with you.
